Playing in-store and in the Google phones, these films serve to draw-in potential Pixel converts.
We wanted the new Pixel to stand out amid the icy sameness of other makers' phones.
The approach was to move Google's iconic graphic language into a more relatable space – something more textural and touchable. Alluringly fun.
Reference images.
We created a dimensional world of Google-y geometry with familiar surfaces and materials. The Google dots (now spheres) roll, collide, and bounce through a continuous landscape.
We imagined it to be like an elaborate contraption you'd find in a museum gift shop.
Style frames.
With real (-ish) physics adding to the authentic appeal, we designed vignettes that subtly visualized the phones' features – always echoing the playfulness and attitude of the Google brand.
